Multis UK Limited is looking for a Junior Backend Developer to join our team and work on real production systems and online marketplace projects.
Form of employment: part-time, full-time, contract
Location: Remotely
Job responsibilities:
Backend development in PHP and SQL
Development and maintenance of REST APIs
Working with databases, search and integrations
Bug fixing, testing and improving existing applications
Using modern AI development tools under guidance from senior developers
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of PHP or another backend programming language
Basic SQL knowledge
Basic understanding of Git and REST APIs
Logical and analytical thinking
Willingness to learn and follow guidance from senior developers
Ability to communicate and work reliably in a remote team
Advantage:
Experience with PHP 8+, MySQL or PostgreSQL
JavaScript or TypeScript
Docker and Linux
Elasticsearch
Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
Automated testing
Experience using AI coding assistants
